Description

We are looking for a flexible vocational teacher for our students on the Construction and Civil Engineering program at Mora Gymnasium. Your task will be to shape tomorrow's employees and citizens in Mora, Orsa, Älvdalen, or wherever life takes them, together with your future colleagues.

Responsibilities

Together with your work team, you will plan, implement, and follow up on everything from individual lessons to the entire educational program.

You will be responsible for the part of the teaching that focuses on painting. The majority of your time will be spent with students and colleagues, which is why we place great emphasis on professional expertise and teamwork skills.

Our nearby companies are very important in our students' education. The education is certified as an industry-recommended school, meaning we meet the standards of the Construction Industry's Vocational Committee (BYN).

Qualifications

Requirements

• Education and professional experience within the construction and civil engineering sector, as well as painting.
• Teacher certification is preferred and should be attached to your application.
• Experience mentoring youth or other leadership roles is an advantage.

The Upper Secondary School Administration

The Upper Secondary School Administration is part of a joint committee for the municipalities of Mora, Orsa, and Älvdalen. The administration is responsible for upper secondary education and adult education in these three cooperating municipalities. We are a school with highly competent staff and good student results. We focus on students' knowledge development and have strong confidence in teachers' abilities. Currently, the school offers 14 national programs, introduction programs, sports high school, adapted upper secondary school, adult education, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), and distance university studies. The school has approximately 1,100 students in upper secondary education and approximately 600 students in adult education.
